One of the most challenging solutions I had to solve was creating a streamline process around a single accounting system, Quickbooks. Prior to my involvement with First Choice the staff manually entered in sales orders, payments, and shipping details.
The research and development poured into these integrations greatly improved efficiency and human errors. The streamline process also helped keep each department well communicated with little lost in translation.
E-Commerce Consultations
Our system was so efficient yet simple that it drew the attention of Anytime Fitness corporate over the course of my relationship with them. In 2017 Anytime Fitness held a meeting that allowed our company, Staples, and their e-commerce platform to collaborate. I had presented our company’s process and needs based on the activity and success with their franchisees and our staff.
In 2020 Anytime Fitness underwent a platform change. Their Director of Partnership and Vendor Relations Manager reached out to me to inquire about the steps I took in assessing platforms that would best serve both end users and their processing staff.






Point of Sale Solutions
As a long standing partner with Anytime Fitness, First Choice had the privilege of attending their annual conference as a preferred vendor. Their conference brings in thousands of franchise staff from around the world. Being one of only two retail vendors the foot traffic was consistent and massive, with line queues sometimes an hour long for checkout. First Choice had been using a single dated POS to handle these waves of customers. It was my job to implement a new system for the company that was reliable, intuitive, affordable, and efficient.
From 2016-2018 I had implemented and used Bindo POS. The system worked well over an iOS platform and provided wonderful sales reports and a remote support staff that helped with any issues. At the end of 2018 Bindo POS had undergone substantial change in management and performance that drove me to seek a new one to meet our demands. At the same time Anytime Fitness offered our company a rare opportunity to set up and run a shop at their headquarters in Woodbury, MN. Such an opportunity would require the best in checkout performance and inventory management. After many inquiries and comparisons I brought us into Shopify. I found this system to perform well and connect with tools that served our company very well. To this day that system is used at their corporate headquarters.
